The Launch of Theatrical Performances during Eid Celebrations 2022 Put Smiles on the Faces of the Saudi Audience and Increase Their Joy

Theatrical performances of the Eid Celebrations Program 2022, organized by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), started today in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Abha and varied between comedy and drama plays targeting all family members and young people.
Theatrical performances in the Eid Celebrations Program 2022 continue for 3 consecutive days, starting today. Riyadh witnessed the performance of the comedy “Allaylah Alkabira” at Bakr Al- Sheddi Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City (BLVD RUH City), starring: Mohammed Abdul Rahman Tota, Nicole Saba, Mahmoud Abdul Ghani. Mahmoud El-Leithi and Mirhan Hussein.
The play tells the story of a couple who have been engaged to for 19 years. On their wedding day, they are surprised by satellite channels and the press storming their home to report the discovery of a submerged archaeological street that passes through their bedroom. The Ministry of Antiquities appoints a military guard in their bedroom, which will become coveted by many people.
In Jeddah, the comedy play “Al-Limbi fi Al-Jahiliya” began on the stage of the Literary Cultural Club, starring Mohammaed Saad, Sami Maghawry, and Dina Mohsen. The events of the play revolve around Al-Limbi’s struggle to marry Princess Karwana, who rejects him outright. So, he resorts to magic, which turns his life upside down in a humorous play full of unusual situations.
The stage of Al-Asala Colleges in Dammam hosted the drama play “Halalhom Dalalhom”, starring Ahmed Al-Awanan, Zahra Arafat, Ahmed Iraj, Fahd Al-Bannai, Mohammed Al-Ramadan, Iman Al-Husseini, Abdullah Al-Badr, Waheed Abullah and Amer Al-Kaabi. The play talks about a family whose social and psychological condition deteriorates due to indifference and neglect. The family consists of four orphaned brothers (three boys and a girl) who are raised by their grandfather.
At the King Khalid University theater in Abha, the play “Tar Bil Ijjah” was shown, starring Rashid Al-Shamrani, Abdullah Asiri, Aziz Buhais, Nadia Ghazi, Mutaib Al-Malki and Abdullah Nayef. The play discusses the status of celebrities and the behavior of some celebrities who rose to fame by chance.
The four plays start at 9 pm every day and continue until after midnight. They are shown over 3 days, ending on 6 May.
