His Excellency Advisor Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of General Entertainment Authority announced in a tweet the return of the famous Saudi series “Tash Ma Tash.” He added that the work will be supported by General Entertainment Authority and will be shown on MBC during Ramadan.
The famous Saudi series put smiles on the faces of viewers since its beginnings in 1992. The series, which continued until 2011 discussed social issues in a lively comic form. In January 2019, during the launch of the strategy of General Entertainment Authority at a huge conference, His Excellency Advisor Turki Alalshikh announced the return of the duo in a special big work that will bring them together, as the two stars are among the most prominent actors in the history of Saudi drama.
“Tash Ma Tash” influenced the Saudi scene and became a household name because of the credibility of the series, and people still recall the series despite the passage of many years. The two stars, Abdullah and Nasser, presented a special and captivating comedy for viewers over the past decades, and the Saudi drama has not presented a similar work, which has become immortal in the people’s conscience.
This is one of the initiatives of General Entertainment Authority that comes in cooperation with MBC Group to support Saudi art in general.
