Riyadh Calendar Launches the First Part of “Nights from the Beautiful Past” with Rich Music and Folklore

The first part of “Nights from the Beautiful Past” began on Thursday at Mohammed Abdu Arena Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City, as part of the Riyadh Calendar events. The singers Dalia Mubarak, Mutraf Al-Mutraf, Waed, and Rashid Al-Faris performed during the event.

The musical night opened with folklore performances, starting with Dalia Mubarak who performed four wonderful songs by the late singer Rabab.

Dalia’s performances were distinguished by presenting timeless songs that included “Arjouk – Sawtly Wagollak Sam – Ejrah Wa’athab”. However, the biggest interaction from the audience was for the wonderful song “Kul Khamees” amidst a great interaction from the attendees.

On the background of the event, Dalia Mubarak expressed her pride and happiness to sing on this night which focused on performing the works of the artist Rabab, who is considered an icon of the beautiful past art.

During the same event, Mutraf Al-Mutraf sang several works by Awad Al-Dukhi with long melodies and presented a distinguished performance by playing the oud, amidst the delight of the audience who listened to the songs “Sawt Al-Sahara, Da’ Al-Washaat, Ala Dame’ Ayni, Ya Habibi, and Adrub Khellee.”

Al-Mutraf expressed his gratitude for performing on a night from the beautiful past, which is a source of pride and honor for him, as it witnesses a wide interest in the Kingdom and the Gulf region.

The event also witnessed the wonderful presence of the star Waed who presented songs by the late artist Etab, including “Jani Al-Asmar, Basharooni, Ya Sa’oudi, Ahtak Fee Qalbi”. Waed’s participation was distinguished by a wonderful musical performance that reflected the importance of the musical night, which was concluded by the star Rashid Al-Faris with several works by the late Salamah Al-Abdullah, including “Ahdaitlak Ya Zein, Ya Ayn Yalli Sahera, Ya Ali, Tawal’t Bik Wallah.”

Mohammed Abdu Arena Theater was distinguished by a traditional character through the color that reflected the desert and the band that wore the Saudi national dress. Pictures of the late stars “Rabab, Etab, Awad Al-Dukhi, and Salamah Al-Abdullah” were displayed on the theater screens.

On the second “Night from the Beautiful Past,’ today, Khalid Abdulrahman, Fahad Al-Kubaisi, Ayed, and Dahoum Al-Talasi will perform a set of distinguished songs for the audience in the capital at the Mohammed Abdu Arena Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City.
