The General Entertainment Authority’s Kingdom Tour 2023 continues to add regions to its itinerary. After Al-Baha was added about a week ago, His Excellency Advisor Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, announced today the inclusion of Najran in the events that will tour the Kingdom until the end of September. This brings the total number of cities and regions of the tour to 17.
In a statement, Alalshikh said: “Kingdom Tour 2023, which is the largest entertainment tour around the Kingdom, is being carried out in strategic partnership with the Quality-of-Life Program. Local companies in all regions are responsible for organizing and managing the tour. This has provided an opportunity for hundreds of sons and daughters of the country to participate in various stages of entertainment events, whether in the pre-production phase or in the actual performance, as well as in the supporting services such as organizing and presenting creative shows, and logistical and technical services accompanying each show.”
His Excellency added: “Through the events of Kingdom Tour 2023, the General Entertainment Authority is working to provide opportunities for the private sector in the regions and cities it will visit, to maximize the economic benefits and achieve the social impact of the entertainment activities that the cities and regions will experience.” He emphasized that the youth of the Kingdom will play a major role in creating joy by organizing these events, which will give them experience and knowledge and increase their contribution to the entertainment sector, which is one of the promising sectors in the Kingdom.
AlalShikh concluded his statement by expressing his profound gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, architect of Saudi Vision 2030, for their constant and unlimited support for the entertainment sector and all sectors of the state.
It is worth noting that Kingdom Tour 2023 is one of the initiatives of the General Entertainment Authority aimed at meeting the entertainment desires of the residents and visitors of the Kingdom.
As part of the events anticipated by the audience today (Friday), a concert will be held at King Abdulaziz Cultural Center in Al-Baha featuring Asil Abu Bakr Salem and the young singer Rami Abdullah. In Abha, at King Khalid University Theater, Asala and Majid Almohandis will perform a concert. Meanwhile, the Egyptian comedy play ‘Hatta La Yatir Al-Dukkan’ continues to be staged at the Literary and Cultural Club Theater in Hail.
