The comedy play “Ala Wad’i Al-Tayaran” (On Airplane Mode) witnessed a remarkable turnout since its first show on Thursday at Mohammed Alali Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City. The play is presented as part of the Kingdom Tour 2023 plays, one of the initiatives of the General Entertainment Authority.

The Egyptian play’s cast, which runs until May 29, succeeded in drawing continuous laughter from the audience through the brilliant comedic performance that they are well-known for. The play is starring Chico, Hisham Majid, Mohammed Salam, Shimaa Seif, and a number of other well-known actors.

The story of the play revolves around a passenger plane carrying different characters heading from Cairo to Istanbul, but each of them is traveling for a specific reason. Suddenly, the course of the flight changes after a hijacker appears on the plane, seeking revenge against the passengers for a personal grudge he holds against them.
