Launched by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) in 2021, Happiness Creators is an initiative specialized in qualifying, training, and developing human capital in the entertainment sector— one of the fastest-growing and emerging sectors in the Kingdom. The initiative addresses the lack of dedicated training programs by offering a variety of educational, qualifying, and developmental tracks aimed at ensuring the sustainability of the entertainment industry in Saudi Arabia. It has supported the growth and development of more than 100,000 young men and women.
The Happiness Creators initiative aims to strengthen and develop national talent to support the growth of the entertainment sector by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge through various programs, including:
1. Bachelor’s Degree Program (with guaranteed employment upon graduation)
2. Diploma Program (with guaranteed employment)
3. Preparatory Qualification Program (one year, with guaranteed employment)
4. Entertainment Leaders Program
5. Entertainment Fellowship Program
6. E-Learning Platform (asynchronous training)
7. Developmental Courses (in-person, ranging from 1 to 5 days)
8. Creative Journey Across the Kingdom (to discover and prepare talents)
