As part of the social responsibility efforts of Riyadh Season 2025, HE Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced the organization of the second edition of the “Laylat Al-Omr” initiative, scheduled to take place in early February. The initiative aims to help young Saudi men begin a new chapter in their lives by organizing an exceptional wedding ceremony that embodies joy and provides a stable start to their married life.
“Laylat Al-Omr 2,” which will be men-only, will be held at one of Riyadh Season’s theaters, combining generosity with celebration. The initiative will be supported by active participation from partners representing government entities, the private sector, and the non-profit sector, reflecting an integrated institutional effort to serve the community and enhance the initiative’s humanitarian impact.
The initiative seeks to ease the financial burden on young men preparing for marriage by offering a comprehensive wedding experience befitting this pivotal milestone in their lives. Support provided to beneficiaries includes several tracks that supporters can apply for by visiting the following link: https://riyadhseason.com/ar/laylat-alomr.
These include financial contributions, wedding essentials, home furnishings, as well as perfumes, incense, and gifts, in addition to providing products or services that directly contribute to the success of this exceptional night.
In terms of partnerships, the “Laylat Al-Omr” initiative offers a range of benefits to supporting partners, most notably extensive media exposure across Riyadh Season’s channels and platforms. The first edition of the initiative achieved remarkable reach, garnering nearly one billion views, highlighting the strong media and public impact of the initiative.
Additional benefits include the display of the partner’s logo across all official initiative materials, including the main screens at the event venue, as well as media coverage and promotion through Riyadh Season’s official social media accounts.
Each partner will also receive 10 invitations for men to attend the collective wedding ceremony, further strengthening partner presence and direct engagement in creating this unique humanitarian occasion.
“Laylat Al-Omr 2” builds on the success of the first edition and reinforces Riyadh Season’s commitment to combining entertainment with social responsibility through initiatives that leave a lasting impact on young people’s lives, promote social cohesion, and create joy within one of the region’s largest entertainment destinations.
