HE Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced today (Wednesday) the release of tickets for WWE SmackDown and the 2026 Royal Rumble, as part of preparations to host one of WWE’s biggest global events within Riyadh Season 2025.
For the first time outside North America, Riyadh will host the Royal Rumble at KAFD on Saturday, 31 January 2026, preceded by SmackDown on Friday, 30 January, at the same venue. Fans will have the opportunity to attend two consecutive nights of top-tier WWE action, with tickets available through the Webook app.
The event will feature the iconic Royal Rumble matches, with 30 Superstars competing in the men's match and 30 Superstars in the women's match, where the winners earn a title opportunity at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. Royal Rumble will be broadcast live on ESPN platforms in the United States and on Netflix for audiences worldwide.
Hosting the Royal Rumble in Riyadh reflects the growing partnership between the General Entertainment Authority and WWE, a collaboration that has brought some of the world’s most prominent shows to the Kingdom in recent years. The 2026 Royal Rumble marks a key milestone in this partnership, paving the way toward the biggest event in sports entertainment, WrestleMania 43, which will take place in Riyadh in 2027, for the first time outside North America.
