On the Night of Champions, which returned after an 8-year hiatus through Jeddah Calendar, organized by the General Entertainment Authority in partnership with WWE, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship title by defeating his rival AJ Styles. The match featured many rounds and challenges that the audience interacted with, filling the venue with applause for the finalists.

The Night of Champions event began at Jeddah Superdome with the Saudi national anthem. Sami Zayn and his partner Kevin Owens managed to win the Tag Team Championship title from Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, and the championship belt was renamed to an Arab name in the middle of the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

At the Night of Champions event, Trish Stratus defeated Becky Lynch with the help of Zoey Stark. Meanwhile, Mustafa Ali lost to “The Ring General” Gunther, who retained the Intercontinental Championship title. Asuka defeated Bianca Belair to win the Raw Women’s Championship title, while Rhea Ripley quickly defeated Natalya to retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship title. Cody Rhodes lost to Brock Lesnar.

The Night of Champions event became even more significant as it was the first occasion where the champion was crowned with the newly designed championship belt, featuring the falcon emblem, as well as the addition of a crown to celebrate Bruno Sammartino, and 60 diamonds to signify the number of years since the establishment of WWE six decades ago.

The Night of Champions event garnered the attention of diverse audiences and followers from around the world, as the champions’ matches were broadcasted live on the Shahid digital platform.

The Night of Champions event was preceded by a series of activities related to WWE, including the City of Champions, which allowed visitors to meet the stars and enjoy a range of fun games and experiences.

Over three consecutive days, WWE fans in the City of Champions indulged in their passion by experiencing entering the ring like the stars, as well as shopping at the WWE store, which offered the latest championship belt releases and a range of exclusive products.
