IAAPA Middle East Trade Summit kicks off in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, next week. The summit is organized by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) in
partnership with the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), which includes more than 6,000 members in the entertainment industry in more than 100 countries around the world. The summit, which will be held from 7 to 8 March, is a major event and the most prominent of its kind in the Middle East.
The summit provides opportunities to learn from entertainment makers and benefit from them, by bringing together many international specialists in one place to present a summary of their experiences, in a way that supports the entertainment industry in the Kingdom and enriches the experiences of its workers.
It hosts several international speakers and entertainment industry specialists from international companies, who will participate in the sessions and workshops organized by the summit. The sessions and workshops deal with innovative methods that contribute to the development of the entertainment sector. The summit will also be accompanied by an exhibition in which many local and international companies participate.
The aim of the summit is to explore new developments and global innovations in the entertainment industry and learn ways and tools to measure the success of entertainment activities. It also addresses the challenges of the entertainment sector and how to support its strategies and programs.
The summit includes a number of training programs, such as the professional development program offered by the Institute for Attractions Managers (IAM), which targets executives and decision-makers in companies operating in the entertainment sector from 5 to 7 March. The program includes sessions with specialized topics such as increasing revenues in entertainment destinations, discovering entertainment projects under development in Saudi Arabia, and others.
Organizing the summit by GEA is a continuation of its entertainment initiatives and endeavors to develop the entertainment sector with the latest international standards to meet the increasing demand for entertainment events throughout the Kingdom.
