Actor Tariq Al-Ali showed off his improvisational skills to entertain the audience in the play “London Apartment”, which was launched on Thursday, December 22 at Bakr Al-Shiddi Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City, one of the zones of Riyadh Season 2022.
The play, which continues until December 25, discusses many social issues that touch the lives of Khaleejs, its about the story of 3 Arab families who meet in the first act of the play in a restaurant in London, to take a break away from their work and family obligations.
The main plot of the play revolves around the suffering of the show’s star, Tariq Al-Ali, in finding a suitable apartment for rent, in the middle of the tourist-filled British capital.
Through the second act of the play, the story moves to a series of scenes, humorous situations, and exciting events between the characters inside an apartment in which they had to live together, where many surprises and exciting funny scenes occur with the stars of the play.
Al-Ali surprised the audience by going off the script in one of its scenes suddenly, to showcase how the Saudi international player Salem Al-Dawsari celebrated after his goal, which he scored against the Argentine national team in the 2022 World Cup match in Qatar.
Tariq Al-Ali didn’t stop there, but rather went down the stage to accompany Al-Dawsari, who was among the audience, and take with him, along with a number of the play’s stars, a memorial photo, amidst greetings and great interaction from the audience.

The first performance of the play witnessed a large presence of a number of prominent personalities in the community who were keen to watch the play with its renewed and interesting situations.
The audience groups who attended varied, including the elderly, young people, and others. Tickets sold out during the first two days early on.
The play is written by Issa Ahmed and directed by Musa Arti. Starring Tariq Al-Ali, Elham Al-Fadala, Juma Ali, Mais Qamar, Shihab Johar, Shahad Salman and Meshaal Al-Aidan.
