The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) received the 27001:2013 ISO/IEC certification for Information Security Management Systems from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in acknowledgment of its excellent information protection and security performance.
The certification recognizes GEA’s role in implementing a comprehensive program that guarantees fulfilling information security and protection requirements, continually upgrading electronic services, designing digital platforms based on the highest international standards, and adopting state-of-the-art security controls that safeguard information against security risks and breaches.
GEA has obtained this certificate, recognized by the US-based International Accreditation Service (IAS), following its successful implementation of the certification criteria and after completing all evaluations and audits, which confirms the integration of GEA’s information security and protection program. In parallel, GEA will pursue regular risk assessments in relation to the information security of its digital services.
