Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of General Entertainment Authority, inaugurated Merwas today, In the presence of: Nada Al-Tuwaijri, Co-founder and CEO of Merwas, Rumian Al-Rumayyan, Co-founder and Chief Content Officer of Merwas, and a number of guests including artists, composers, music distributors and others.
Merwas is the largest art and entertainment factory in the Arab world, located in Boulevard Riyadh City, one of the 15 entertainment zones of Riyadh Season, it includes 22 international studios, which allow visitors of Riyadh Season to explore the world of content industry, films and cinematography through famous international production companies. The 5000 m2 factory contributes to changing the concept of art, entertainment and content industry, as well as assisting artists and researchers in an integrated environment for the production of artistic content, and supporting new ideas in line with the modern content industry.
This event provides an ideal environment for improving creative output, developing inspired talents and protecting artistic property rights through its academy, production network, a radio that broadcasts two Arabic-English channels, an artistic production company and a creative council. Moreover, Merwas covers many of the needs of Riyadh Season by providing spaces, solutions and experts in the content and audiovisual industry.
