In May, the Entertainment Business Accelerator witnessed several local and international visits. Recently, the head of the entrepreneurship committee at the Riyadh Chamber, along with members of its culture and entertainment committee, were received to introduce them to the most prominent projects offered by the accelerator, meet participating entrepreneurs, and provide necessary consultations for their projects through the accelerator dedicated to business and entertainment activities.
In the same context, a delegation from India participating in the G20 Summit visited the Entertainment Business Accelerator to learn about some of the pioneering projects in the Kingdom and the investment opportunities in the entertainment sector, which has witnessed significant growth in recent years.
The Entertainment Business Accelerator works on developing small and medium-sized enterprises through direct engagement with local and global partners, providing services and guidance in the entertainment sector through a package of programs and meetings. One of the most prominent of these was the dialogue meeting recently organized with Dr. Nabeel Koshak, the CEO and Board Member of Saudi Venture Capital Company, to discuss facing investment challenges in the entertainment sector.
The Entertainment Business Accelerator is part of the General Entertainment Authority’s initiatives aimed at creating new options in entertainment, sports, festivals dedicated to technology, games, and shopping, as well as generating thousands of job opportunities and diversifying economic activities.
