In “Catwalk” Initiative Riyadh Season Visitors Walk 7 km to Protect the Arabian Leopard from Extinction

Nov 4, 2022

Riyadh Season 2022 allows visitors to participate in the global “Catwalk” initiative, which will start at 7 pm tomorrow, Saturday, 5 November, in Boulevard Riyadh City, one of Riyadh Season entertainment zones. The initiative aims to spread awareness of the importance of preserving the wildcat species from extinction, especially the Arabian leopard.
The global initiative led by Catmosphere Foundation encourages people to walk 7 km in open air, which contributes to raising awareness about the benefits of sports activities such as walking and running, and their importance on physical and psychological health, as well as raising awareness of the importance of preserving the 7 endangered wild cats (jaguar, leopard, snow leopard, tiger, lion, puma, and mountain lion), preserving them in their natural habitat, and spreading awareness of the close connection between human life and other creatures.
The “Catwalk” initiative allows participants to walk individually or in groups. Participants can select which of the 7 wild cats they will gift their participation to, as that cat will be the logo of the team they join during the launch of the initiative. Participants can travel up to 7 km for adults or 700 m for children and families.
Riyadh Season 2022 is characterized by presenting a unique blend of suspense and modernity, making the capital Riyadh a major incubator, a preferred destination and a stimulating space that exceeds the local and international imagination, by providing residents and visitors with entertainment options, as well as improving the entertainment sector industry and consolidating the Kingdom’s position as one of the prominent regional and international entertainment destinations.
