“We want a third night!” This is how the audience of Riyadh Season responded on Abdul Majeed’s Night to the request of His Excellency Advisor Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of General Entertainment Authority, who suggested that the spectators request a third show from “Amir al-Tarab” (prince of music), Abdul Majeed Abdullah, who presented a wonderful performance at Mohammed Abdu Arena.
Alalshikh welcomed the attendees through a phone call, in which he said: “Good evening, and welcome to all of you in Riyadh Season in an exceptional concert by an exceptional artist who is very great and dear to my heart.”
He added: “I am often embarrassed regarding his concerts, and a word I said and still say: If he performs 20 concerts in Riyadh Season, they will all be sold out. Praise be to God, entertainment in my beloved country lives in its brightest era.” Alalshikh concluded his address to the audience by saying: “We want a third night!”, confirming his readiness to hold a third night for Abdul Majeed.
For his part, Abdul Majeed Abdullah responded to the speech of Alalshikh by saying: “Thank you for your support and positive energy and all your efforts. We love you, dear Abu Nasser.”
Saudi star Abdul Majeed Abdullah presented a group of songs at his first concert in Riyadh Season 2022, in the presence of a large audience. The concert opened with the song “Ya Baadhum”, with which the audience interacted with great enthusiasm. After that, he presented some of his wonderful new and old songs, in which lyrics and music harmonized.
In the press conference about the concert, Abdul Majeed Abdullah revealed the secret of the remarkable success of his song “Han Al-Gharib”, which exceeded 70 million hits, indicating that there are many factors behind the great success. At the conference, he also praised the “Banat Al-Saudia” choir that accompanies him in his concerts, especially as it is the first women’s choir in the Kingdom.
